Minimum Income Guarantee Beneficiaries and Conditions for Entitlement

Spain does not have a national minimum income guarantee. Through their social affairs departments, the Regional Governments have been establishing programmes of this type, which are managed by these administrations in cooperation with local councils. The requirements and conditions for receiving this type of assistance vary from region to region, so you should first contact the Social Affairs Department of your municipality or the Regional Government Social Affairs Department.
