Where exactly are the Cuevas de Canelobre might take a wander round there next weekend.

Head for Busot & you will find them sign posted.

There are some nice walks around there but look out for the caterpillers.

On Sunday night the little stray we've adopted had a problem with his eye which, after a couple of hours seemed to spread to the other eye. Ultimately we visited the vets just after midnight (Mediteraneo Veterinaria just off the La Nucia/Benidorm road - they're brilliant). The problem was due to the dust in the air from the caterpillars. We were told that if a dog has an adverse reaction, the respiratory system may be affected, even shut down and result in death. I found this also, it's pretty scary.

It's not just animals that have to watch out, they are nasty beasties.

I know for sure that there are loads of 'nests' in that area because of the pines, I haven't been there lately so don't know if they have all gone or not.
