Children singing, sleigh-bells ringing...
As the year draws to an end the bigger towns of Spain - and even some of the smaller ones - tend to have "Christmas Villages" where you can buy seasonal foods (chestnuts actually roasting on an open fire, for example), the kids can ride on carousels or skate in the temporary ice rinks, and where you may see living nativity scenes.
Out and about
You can wrap up and get out there to take a look at the various ways in which the Festive Season is celebrated. The only question is, "Where should we go first?" The answer: AngloINFO's comprehensive What's On Guide.
